All About Mike

From humble beginning in 1978, Mike Losoya Sr, aka Big Mike, started a small plumbing business out of his home in McAllen, Texas. In 1980 he joined forces with his eldest son Mike Losoya Jr., a master electrician. Strictly on word of mouth the business took off and is now one of the biggest plumbing and electrical service companies in the Rio Grande Valley. The work and moral ethic of the two continues to be the basis of steady growth.

Mike Losoya Jr, now president of the corporation, continues to reshape and revolutionize the plumbing and electrical service. Always wanting to improve, in 2009 Mike’s Plumbing & Electrical, Inc. added ‘Heating & Air Conditioning to their list of expertise.

‘Big Mike’, now in his eighties, still comes in the “shop” at least once a week just to say “Hi” and make sure everything is still running smooth; he is now pleased to have third and fourth generations of his family following his footsteps.

Fantastic job. He could have easily taken me for a ride, but Angel from Mike's was very, very honest and saved me a bunch of money. He repaired the cartridges, versus replacing them or replacing the faucet. He discussed replacing the cartridges or replacing the faucet and ended up simply repairing the cartridges, saving me a minimum of $75. Many companies like this don't understand that if you save a customer money, you generate a ton of future money through repeat business & referrals. Mike's has my business for good, & I will tell plenty of people about them. I'm going to hop on facebook later & post positive reviews about them. I sure hope Angel stays with them. I have used them for electrical, but this was my first time for plumbing. Glad to have found a permanent plumber!

They installed a pressure regulator b/t house and city water - we had been blowing out fixtures due to massive SATX city water fluctuations. They came out in a very timely fashion (despite SAWS giving us mixed info on shutting off the water) and were exceedingly professional and accommodating. Have used previously and will use again if needed!
